Anderson Accepts the Challenge...

A team of 28 from Anderson Pest Solutions participated in the Chase Corporate Challenge, a 3.5-mile race in Grant Park on Thursday, May 26th.

According to Britney Parish, Anderson Company Team Captain, "This was the first event for our new AnderCares program, created to select and coordinate employee participation in events that promote health and fitness in the workplace. The event's "Teaming Up for a Greener Tomorrow" theme is a perfect fit for AnderCares' goal to benefit the community and show our company's commitment to supporting green initiatives."

James "JT" Barnard has the best time for the Anderson team, finishing in 26:55 minutes, which was good enough for a 2752 overall place.

The Corporate Challenge strives to make a difference through a donation to a not-for-profit organization in each host city, and through its Teaming Up For a Greener Tomorrow program, an initiative designed to make the Corporate Challenge the world's greenest road race.

In honor of the more than 23,000 runners that participated in this year's event, The JPMorgan Chase Foundation will make a donation to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. This is the third consecutive year the Great Chicago Food Depository has been selected as the beneficiary of the Challenge.
